Did you know that any New York State resident can obtain a New York Public Library card? And with this library card you can obtain access to New York Public Library databases from the comfort of your home.
Many historical newspaper and periodical databases are available with remote access. Look for the 
symbol to see which ones are available to search from home or select “at home with library card” when doing a search.
