The University of Rochester, in partnership with the Rochester Genealogical Society, will be offering a 12 month genealogy program for University of Rochester students, faculty and staff beginning on June 17, 2026.
Unlocking Your Family Story is designed to help participants explore, preserve, and share their family history. Through interactive sessions, hands-on activity and guided research strategies, participants will build skills in genealogy research, organization, records analysis, DNA, storytelling, and technology tools.
The first three sessions will cover: Getting Started, Organizing Your Research and Resource Overview.
