The Herkimer County Historical Society will hold a Genealogy Workshop, “Keep Your Roots Alive – Start Here,” on Tuesday, October 20, from 6 – 8 p.m.
Have you always wanted to start a family tree but aren’t sure where to begin? Or maybe you’ve started researching your family and gotten stuck? Participants are invited to bring their genealogy questions and sit down with members of the Society’s research team for help getting started, finding answers, or working through those frustrating roadblocks.
Attendees should bring their sign-in information for their genealogy websites so researchers can help them make the most of their online resources.
The workshop is free for Herkimer County Historical Society members and $5 for non-members.
