Ogdensburg museum to host series of genealogy workshops

The Ogdensburg History Museum will present  “Genealogy for Beginners” workshops. These hands-on sessions are designed to help participants navigate researching their family history. All sessions are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Some of the topics include:

*Starting your family tree and establishing best practices.

*Understanding census records and common historical sources.

*Utilizing free online tools and resources.

*Finding documentation for Canadian citizenship certificates.

The session will take place on the following Saturdays: April 18, May 16, June 13, July 11, August 8 and September 12.
