Flushing historical society to offer genealogy workshop on April 18

The Bowne House Historical Society, located in Flushing, will be hosting a workshop, “How to Research Your Ancestors,” on Saturday, April 18 from 1-4 p.m.

The program is presented by the Increase Carpenter Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Learn how to search for your American ancestors and family history during this interactive workshop. Participants will learn techniques and online research tools to start your journey into the past. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop.
