The Fenton History Center will host two tours of Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown during the summer.
Learn the stories about veterans buried in Lake View Cemetery on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Six veterans will be highlighted whose stories need to be heard.
Participants will be visiting the sites of six of Jamestown’s prominent families on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Learn how they contributed to the growth of Jamestown. These families are: Hazeltine, Dow, Clark, Griswald, Parks, and Prendergast.
For both tours, participants will meet by the office at Lake View Cemetery for the start of the tour. The cost is $12 for non-members and $8 for members. Participants can pre-register online, at the Fenton, or by phone at 716-664-6256. There is a limit of 20 people for each tour.
