They include passenger arrival records, naturalization records, border crossings, emigration records, passports, and convict transportation records.
Perhaps you will learn the name of the ship your ancestors sailed on and the city where they sailed from, in addition to personal details such as occupations and names of family members.
You will need to set up a free user name and password. Normally, most of these records are free to search, but can only be viewed by those with a subscription plan.
