The Long Island Chapter of the Italian Studies Association will be offering a workshop,“Discovering Your Italian Roots,” on Saturday, April 11 at 2 p.m. in the Upper Glass Atrium of the CCB Building at Nassau Community College in Garden City.
Italian Genealogical Group board members Dr. Marilyn Verna and Mario Toglia will guide participants through this process. Learn how to access valuable genealogy resources that connect American records with Italian archives. Bring laptops or tablets, and any family documents, photos, or vital records you may have. Our experts will help you investigate your family’s history and even assist with translating Italian documents. Light lunch will be served. Parking is available.
