The Chautauqua County History Expo will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fluvanna Community Church in Jamestown.
There will be dozens of local history organizations, libraries, historians and museums from the Chautauqua region. Groups and organizations focusing genealogy will also be there. Lectures are scheduled throughout the day covering: the Erie Canal, the Revolutionary War, and Lafayette’s 1825 visit to Western New York.
