The Saratoga Springs Public Library will present a local history fair on Friday, May 22 from 1-5 p.m. in the Harry Dutcher Community Room.
Whether your interest is in genealogical research, historical interpretation, preservation, or learning about our local history, stop in and visit with representatives from organizations in the Greater Capital District area who are engaged in preserving, researching, and teaching history. There will be representatives from more than a dozen local museums, historic sites, historical societies, and archives on hand to answer questions.
In addition, the following programs will take place:
1:30 p.m. – From Attic to Archive: Preserving Your Family’s Past
3:00 p.m. – Columbia’s Daughters: The Political Equality Clubs of Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties, 1890-1917
No registration required.
