Friends of Lakeview Cemeteries will be hosting a cemeteries cleanup in Patchogue (Suffolk County) on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.
Help out on Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will be planting flowers, removing invasive plants and cleaning up leaves.
On Sunday, May 17 from 9 a.m. to noon trained headstone volunteers will be cleaning historic headstones. Want learn and become part of the team? Everyone is welcome to join.
All ages are welcome! Gloves and tools will be available, but feel free to bring your own. The cemeteries are located at the intersection of West Main Street and Waverly Avenue in Patchogue. Enter through the vehicle gate on Main Street or the pedestrian gate on Waverly Avenue.
