Yonkers Public Library (Westchester County) will offer “Create Your Family Tree” on Monday, April 30 at 10 a.m. Get together to talk about your genealogical research. Buffalo and Erie County Public Libraries will have a Family History Conference on Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees can explore research resources, meet local history and genealogy organizations, and connect with fellow family historians from across the region. The conference will also include Grosvenor Room tours, demonstrations, presentations by local experts, and networking opportunities throughout the day. The Troy Public Library will host a Family History Help Day on Saturday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Need help looking up your family history? The Capital District Genealogical Society will be at the Main Library to help! No appointment needed, first come first served. A session with Society volunteers lasts 30 minutes.

South Huntington Public Library (Suffolk County) will offer an in person Genealogy Drop-In on Tuesday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to noon. Thinking about tracing your roots but don’t know where to start? Or maybe your search is under way and you’ve hit a dead end. The Chatham Public Library (Columbia County) will host a genealogy club on Thursday, May 7 from 2-5 p.m. The club is for beginners and experts and everyone in between.
