The Polish Genealogical Society of New York State has recently developed an online tutorial to help visitors navigate their website
The new tutorial demonstrates how to navigate the databases and locate digital images of historical records. There are 48 individual databases containing unique, indexed records you won’t find on Ancestry, FamilySearch, or other commercial platforms. Despite their value, many researchers remain unaware of these collections or the optimal strategies needed to search them effectively.
The video also offers a complete walkthrough of the website, showing how to take advantage of the assistance PGSNYS provide including the curated research links, personalized member research support, and the ongoing projects to collect and preserve historical records.
