Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx will be hosting an Irish Heritage trolley tour on Sunday, March 15 at 2 p.m.
Participants will visit the gravesites and memorials of Woodlawn’s notables of Irish descent. The tour features Chauncey Olcott, composer of “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” and actress Laurette Taylor from the film “Peg O’ My Heart”.
The guide is the program director for the World War One Centennial Committee for New York City, helping plan programs in the city to remember the Great War.
