The New York Genealogical & Biographical Society is looking for individuals who are interested in celebrating America’s 250th anniversary by volunteering on a society project.
They are currently undertaking a major digitization project focused on American Revolution–related records and are seeking remote volunteers to assist. It is helpful if people have experience with spreadsheets, transcription, or indexing.
Remote indexing volunteers work with scanned documents and enter key information into spreadsheets, which is then incorporated into the search features on our website.
