Friends of the Lakeview Cemeteries will have a fall clean-up on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Lakeview Cemeteries in Patchogue.
Tasks will include litter pickup, weeding, planting flowers, removing invasive plants and cleaning headstones. All ages are welcome. Gloves and tools will be available or bring your own.
In addition, every Wednesday and Thursday there is a weekly headstone cleaning series at 10 a.m. at the Lakeview Cemeteries. No experience is required. All supplies and instructions will be provided. If you would like to participate, send an email to LakeviewCemeteries@gmail.com
