The Jefferson County Historical Society and the Flower Library in Watertown will present a History and Genealogy Fair on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Share stories and learn how to climb your family tree. Local historians will be coming from the Village of Dexter and Village of Sackets Harbor. There will also be representatives from the Thousand Islands Museum and the Sackets Harbor Battlefield Historic Site.
Historical societies participating include: Henderson Historical Society and Museum; Historical Association of South Jefferson; Oswego County Historical Society; Jefferson County Historical Society; Sackets Harbor Historical Society and St. Lawrence County Historical Association.
The following genealogical organizations will be participating: Colonial Dames XVII Century; Daughters of the American Colonists; Daughters of the War of 1812; Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims; Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War and Sons of the American Revolution.
