The Genesee Country Village & Museum will host a Hometown History Expo on Saturday, July 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event aims to provide a platform to raise awareness for all the small museums and historical societies in the Genesee Valley Region. There will be over 20 small museums, house museums, historical societies, genealogy groups and town historians. Some of the groups include: Friends of Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester Genealogical Society, Greece Historical Society, Danville Area Historical Society and town historians from Penfield, Rochester City and Livingston County.
