The Genealogy Club of Newtown (CT) will present “Free Resources for New York Genealogical Research” on Wednesday, June 11, at 7 pm via Zoom.
Upstate, downstate, all around the Empire state, learn how to discover, or rediscover, free resources for investigating ancestors’ lives and family history context. The presenter will demonstrate how to navigate no-fee websites with many updated links to New York area digitized county histories, digitized vital records, state census records, old newspapers, county/local history experts, and more.
