Libraries offer free genealogy programs at end of August

Several New York State libraries will be offering free genealogy assistance programs at the end of August.

The Palmyra Community Library (Wayne County) provides genealogy and Ancestry.com help every Tuesday from 6- 7 p.m. For more information, go to: https://owwl.libcal.com/event/10693106

The Walworth Seeley Public Library (Wayne County) provides genealogy assistance every Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. For more information, go to: https://www.walworthlibrary.org/genealogy-local-history

The Prendergast Public Library (Chautauqua County) provides genealogy assistance every Friday from 2-4 p.m. For more information, call (716) 484-7135 x226 .

The Schuylerville Public Library (Saratoga County) provides genealogy assistance the fourth Monday of every month. Bring your family questions or stop by if you are a beginner.
