The New York Archives Magazine Online Speaker Series will present “Researching New York Families: Writing the Book on the New York State Archives,” on Tuesday, June 20 at 12:30 p.m.
Jane Wilcox, author of New York State Archives – A Guide for Family Historians, Biographers and Historical Research, will discuss her book. She will share insights and discoveries learned from going through hundreds of colonial and state government records held by the archives and tell some stories of the people she met along the way.
