A collaboration between several Long Island North Shore libraries is sponsoring a series of virtual genealogy programs throughout the year.
On July 19 at 7 p.m. learn about 21st Century Italian Genealogy in a program sponsored by the Bayville Free Library. There has never been a better time to pursue Italian genealogical research. With more and more records available online, this talk provides a strong overview for the beginning researcher while including lesser-known resources that will be of interested to advanced researchers.
The presenter, Michael Cassara is a professional genealogist and the president of the Italian Genealogical Group, based on Long Island.
