Volunteers sought for NYG&B preservation project

The NYG&B is calling for volunteers in the New York metro area to join us in our Digitization Center to preserve records. Volunteers are welcome Monday through Friday, 9-5, and on some weekends and evenings which will be announced.

Training is provided for: digitization of material and indexing of material.

Some volunteers choose to come to the office on a regular, scheduled basis. Others choose to let us know a day or two in advance that they have time to volunteer for a few hours.  You can use the SignUp.com page to see what days and times are available and to choose when you want to come in.

Volunteers require proof of vaccination, including booster, and the wearing of masks.
