‘Jewish Genealogy 101’ workshop to take place Nov. 7

The Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island will present the 31th annual “Jewish Genealogy 101” workshop from 12:30-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 as a virtual program.

This workshop is a four hour plus course on sources and strategies for conducting Jewish genealogical research. Instructors will explain where and how to find Jewish records which exist in the U.S., Europe and Israel.

The registration fee includes:
*A full year membership to the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island
*Paper copy of  Avotaynu’s book “Getting Started in Jewish Genealogy”
*Digital copy of the workshop manual, “Jewish Genealogy 101”

The $35 registration fee includes one-year of individual membership and $40 registration fee includes one-year of family membership.

The last day to register is Friday, Nov. 5.  Payment can be made online or by check.
