The Buffalo Irish Genealogical Society will host the Gathering of the Clans on Saturday, October 2, 2021, in a virtual format.
There will be presentations by local historians, “Rare Photos Documenting the First Ward” and “The Thomas B. O’Connor Project,” and a brick wall session with genealogy experts.
In addition there will also be a keynote presentation “Place, Politics, and Jobs: Mapping Intergenerational Transitions in Irish Buffalo” by William Jenkins, author of the book “The Irish in Buffalo and Toronto, 1867-1916.”
